How much do you know about our country? Have you ever read the Constitution? Have you ever read your Bill of Rights? Do you know about the Federalist Papers and the the purpose of each branch of government? Do you know how each state, county and local government are added layers of security for our individual freedoms?

The unfortunate thing is that I believe that most US citizens do not know the foundation of what made this country so great.
In my last blog, I encouraged you to listen to a sermon given at our country's last Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast. I believe that in order for our country to start moving back into the right direction, we need to understand, with wisdom, what the root of the problem is. If you have not done so, I encourage you to watch the video from my last entry.
I also encourage you to look at the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Federalist Papers.
Galatians 5:1 HCSB "Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then and don't submit again to a yoke of slavery."
I truly believe that our freedom to worship, freedom to be ministers of the Gospel, and the availability to send out missionaries, is a gift from God. I believe He helped establish a system of government that allows individuals to seek God for themselves, have a relationship with Him and seek direction according to His plan for their lives. According to the Constitution the government can not interfere with this calling and has a duty to protect this freedom.
I want this freedom to continue. I want my descendants to be able to function at a higher level of ministry than I do today. I don't want to see a system, that allows us to freely follow The Great Commission, to dissolve from a lack of understanding.
